Faith In Action

A congregation present in community both inside and beyond its doors, Faith-Lilac Way engages with many partner organizations to put our faith in action. Below are links to organizations with more information. 

• Kids: Vacation Bible School, Sunday School at 10:30 a.m.

• Youth: Confirmation at 10:45a.m. Sundays and 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Mission Trips, Service Projects (Feed My Starving Children, raking leaves, cleaning, etc.), Fellowship Events (moonlight bowling, retreats, lock-ins, etc.)

• Women: Ladies Ensemble, Women of the ELCA (WELCA), Martha Circle Bible Study, Lydia Circle Bible Study

• Adults: Book Club, Bible Study, Music Groups: Chancel Choir, Soloists & Small Groups

• Local Ministries: Parish & Lay Visitors, Loaves & Fishes, Child/Family Sponsorship, Dinner At Your Door (DAYD), & more including those listed below.

Wildfire Partners

Faith-Lilac Way Lutheran Church is one of eight ELCA churches in our surrounding communities that join together to provide ministry and serve our joint congregations, the community, and the world. All participating churches are listed below. Collaborative efforts of this group include confirmation activities, bible school opportunities, men’s fellowship dinner, and various service projects. A Wildfire Task Force meets on a regular basis to continue establishing even more ministry opportunities among the member churches including service projects, mission trips, a women’s fellowship event, and more!
